Work | Graphic Recording

Graphic Recording or graphic facilitation is the real-time capture, in pictures and words, of just about any type of gathering: keynotes, roundtables, meetings, brainstorms, you name it.

We can work nearby the speaker to help focus the attention of the audience in a different and dynamic way; or we can work in a less visible area, so that people can review the visual notes during breaks or after the meeting. The resulting images are yours to keep, and are often put on display in a workplace.

We can also help digitize the work for future use in other media; company literature, presentations, and takeaways for participants are just a few of the ways our images have been used.

Thanks to Sunni Brown | BrightSpot, I’ve recorded for organizations like SXSW Interactive and companies of the Fortune 500 variety to national and local foundations. Nancy Giordano and Jen Spencer at Play Big Inc. provided the opportunity to play -well- BIG with the YWCA and other internationally-reaching organizations.

Looking for a Graphic Recorder or want to discuss how we can facilitate your next meeting?

We would love to hear more from you.

Bold Muse Creative in the wild

On March 30, 2011, Dell provided a no-NDA, no-holds-barred environment for 15 Green experts and bloggers active in social media to discuss any and everything that had to do with Sustainability. And thanks to Sunni Brown|BrightSpot, I was there to visually capture it all.

Dell did their own awesome visual capture via photos and short videos to help chronicle the day. It also happens to be a great way see graphic recording in action; both in the physical space and in content.

For more insight from some of the Green giants in the room, please read: David Lear, Executive Director - Sustainability at Dell, George Dearing | Dearing Group and Paul Smith | GreenSmith Consulting.

Now that you've seen it,
hear all about it.

The process and benefits of graphic recording, visual thinking at TEDActive, The Doodle Revolution, and even whiteboard ninjas -

Sunni Brown and I talk about it all with fellow TEDster James Piecowya on his Nightline radio show, on DubaiEye 1038.
